Elimination Communication

Arannatee took to it like a duck to water, she was able to cue us using her own particular body language....now she is able to associate the potty and sound cues with peeing and pooing. And this is just 2 days after I started (2 weeks ago exactly). Now, we've taken the plunge into night EC and she's pretty good with that as well. Sez who babies have no control. Of course, there are near misses, and accidents (lots) but hey, I've learnt not to be so uptight about them and just clean up...

A fall on Christmas Day

Scary start to our Christmas day today. I slipped on the bathroom floor while carrying baby Arannatee. Thank goodness some instinct for her preservation was in me, cause I did not let go and she only gently bumped the floor with her head. Still, she got such a scare that she started crying, poor dear.

She's turned 3 months!!!

Arannatee is now able to turn and she does so frequently. She seems to be really advanced for her age. She has also started to communicate her elimination needs and she did so within a week after I got introduced to EC (elimination communication or diaper free baby) What a wonderful blessing she is...

She went on her first campout a few days before she turned 3 months. And certainly enjoyed it. The little girl takes to the outdoors, a bit like her parents if I do say so myself....
